Sittin here after a pretty good day . Had a video shoot for Richie Stephens and Gentlemans collabo song, mad nice reggae vibes and the theme was Rub a Dub/ Old School ...lol pretty funny. Im terrible with Pictures but soon u will see the pictures thank god for Latonya First Class Ladies / DanceJA and her camera =) Have one picture with Kimiko from First Class Ladiez

Oh I was supposed to do a  promtion job early saturday morning, and the thing that cannot happen ,happend. I didint wake up on time =/ thast emberrasign, I guess Im human but stilll, especially when somebody recomended you , even worse.

Melpo Double Trouble

Busy summer

I know neither me or Franci have writght in a while but time to take this thing again a lil more serious so we can keep freinds n family n fans updates.

We were in Jamaica all summer working ( stilla re here ) on differnet projects , as ATI for example and me Melpo entered the International Dancehall Queen 2012 in Montego Bay Jamaica. Gonna tell u more about on a seperate blog + I was at the Big Up Kemp in france keeping workshop showing my love for dancehall n sharing ma knowledge as well as in London and Sweden. More about that too later on with pictures and video clips plus music video for Cashflow records more about that too. Here we gonna show u pictures n small stories from our time as ATI promo girls, u know u just look pretty ,, dance n have fun , perfect for DOUBLE TROUBLE =) Look good, can , dance, friendly with a smile always ( lol) and luuuvs to HAVE FUN n party.

We went to reggea Sumfest with the ATI team to do some promo for ATI weekend .  We were stayin at a mad nice hotel were all the artist were staying  Half Moon Hotel our "neighbour" was Damian Marley but here is a pic with Popcaan n Double Trouble on our way to the beach , not with Popcaan though , our friend actually another girl from the ATI team who is jamaican didnt know how Popcaan look like so she wanted to see him and take a picture, lol and our driver knew him so here we are.. Sumfest was maadness saw ma singer of all times R. Kelly that man is a living legend , the vocals is not to play with neither his hits, dont care if he pisse don a girl , sad but still love him as an artist.

 

 

 

Okey so here we are at the cricket game in Kingston, were they serving Appleton + Renneasince SOund was playing, only in JAamica i c this happening people drinkin having fun and just dancing at a sports game. Imagine that happen at a AIK match i Råsunda lr the new Friends Arena, LOL-....noooot ....

Ehhmmm at a beach party in Ocho Rios, worst ever, not for me at all, people behaving like animals, moooooooove outta ma face but still had to smile n be freindly, lol

 

Here we are again DOUBLE TROUBLE  tried to take a picture in between our dancin segments hehehhe, anybody who knows us know theat we are all about party n dance so this job fit us perfect!!

Long time, huh but time to blog- Dont miss out SoMAD

Okey so Im( MELPO )  gonna start with whats happening this weekend in Stockholm, SWEDEN! My students , the talented dancers SoMAD from Tyresö performing on Saturday at MOSQUITO  Streetparty & Streetprotest. Thomas Gylling and 1000 of people Saturday Sep 22 with a start at Humelgården at 12.00. B there !!! Free for all !! Its a streetparty with trucks, flags, dancers, artists, dj photographrs and all of u guys that come n support for a free open International Stockholm .

The girls reppin för FÖRORTEN , meaning the suburbs . Here is a look when they perfomed in Kungströdgården in August and in May at Berns alongside 90 s Squad.

08 Dance BAttle RÅGSVED

My close friend Kibbe ( hes the best ever, he do anything for the kids and for the dance )  was keeping a Dance Battle  named --- 08 DANCE BATTLE --- in a hood called Rågsved.

This was last week April 14th. U had Battles in Poppin, Hiphop, House and Dancehall. And than u had differnet dance acts with some show cases. My students SoMAD was of course booked for this job and this time they had a very special lesson to do that I gave them.
 U see I just dont teach kids just a lil thing and thean leave, no no i care for them trynna guide them what path they should take instead of fighting, doin drugs, and all kind of bad things I preach about dance so they can be busy with a nice hobby that can give them good opportunities in life and self confidence.. Anyhows their lesson was to create and choreograph their own show without my help. In the beginning they were like oooh ma goood how is this gonna go , but trust me when I say-- they did more than GOOD  , its sick its MUUUURDER ..... they surpised me and the whole crowd ...woooow what a show...U will c it further down + u will see some video clips from the dancehall battle that almost everybody from SoMAD entered as well as me =)  My dance parner was Imenella ( So MAD) i know this girl for almost 9 years hahaha thats how long time shes been dancin for me and u will c shes MUUUURDER!!!!  Take a look --- Oh and me and Imenella won the Dancehall battle in the final against Madde and melina ( rebound )
The whole day was filled with love actually first time in Sweden that dancehall crews get a long !!! And it was fun - only person wasmissin was FRANCI DOUBLE TROUBLE  ma partner in crime thats doing her thing in JA , hopefully she will blog about the latest video she did with IOctane

As most people know Im a Dance teacher as well ( MELPO ). Been teaching for almost 10 years now . I mostly teach Dancehall, but I teach sometimes Hiphop as well as House ( but defnettly not so often ) Dancehall is my thing.

At the moment I teach in Tyresö in Sweden and in Rågsved.
Thats where my girls my students So MAD crew comes from and one girl is from Tensta.
Its 10 girls  from age 13- 23.
We have : Aisa, Sara, Loullo, Angela, Cynthia, Shamsa, Olivia, Erica , Elisabeth and Imenella.

They been having mad bookings now and more to come here is one show from March 11 2012.
They did a show choreographed by me MELPO ( DOUBLE TROUBLE )  called

Bad update but here we go!!
Back in Sweden after being in Jamaica and New York . What have me, Melpo been up too?  =D

Well finally did my first video for one of my songs POSE POSE ( Riva Stone Riddim) Stainy production. Where did we do the video? Well in JAMAICA  of course hehe, in Portmore club vulcano aka blaze , very nice place.

Gonna show u some pictures of that stressful day, wow wow....Let me tell u that was stressing but everything sort out well and its CASHFLOW RECORDS that did this video. Can't wait to see it, well I have seen some of it hehe and its weird to see urself first time as an artist Im used to be the dancer or so but nope this time its MELPO MELLZ .  FINALLY  did MY video and let me say this I LOVE IT ----  Hard work gotta pay off right + as long as I do what i love to do and follow my heart .
Had the best dancers with me Franci from Double Trouble + Danielle shes from Kingston, JA we met her last year at a video shoot for Beenie MAn that we were supposed to do and I remember that I really really liked how she dance and she fit perfect with the image and all. So we were triple trouble that day =) Big thank u to the one and only NicNoc woooow girl u really helped me out , thaank u- Thanks to Bubblin crew from finland that was there , Mob + more more .

The fabulous dress that I wear is from clothing line IMPIE SKIMPY  designed by Romina Fadda.
Shes aoslutly my favorite designer and u have seen me and franci wear some of her clothes as well as swimsuit. And U will MOS DEF  see more of her creations in my future videos and pictures.
I must say Im proud of my self  I paid the video for my self - HOW  ? by working hard and save money for something I believe in - MYSELF!  It starts from ur self...Choreo its made by myself  Melpo  and Franci ( DOUBLE TROUBLE ) . Song written by Melpo , multi talented ;)  Some people say u must be crazy of doing this but yeah if u in  the entertaiment buisness u must be crazy bcaz iy aint easy job when I can go and work and have a " normal" job and life , but this is MY LIFE!!!!
