The brains have been workin non stop and are on fire.
Let me tell u this!! Least week Monday and Tueaday 21- 22 March was the gathering, get to know, worskhops for the Dancin Dynamites Finalist here in Jamaica. We are 12 crews ( duo) that made it in the 6th season of the Tv dance show Dancin Dynamite.
Sooooooooo...... Franci got very sick,food posion all week she got well on friday , the day before the show. While Franci was home sick as a dog Melpo was by her self workin and listening to what they had to say and also takin workshops in differnet styles. WOOOW!!! I sure Missed my partner =D
Anyways so the day came to pick the mix on wedsnday 4 days before the big show.
HAHAHAHAH - thats the only thing we can do otherwise cry!!
Since Franci has such a daaamn big BAD LUCK we decided it would be the best for us If I , Melpo picked the mix...let me laugh again, HAHA.
This is the rules..Nobody choose their own music or do their own mix, Dancin Dynamites provides for all of the music so they have a drowin and everybdoy gets to pick and u can get anything. From 12 crews u got 2 female crews so they were polite enough to do 2 female mixes HAHAH wich did not do anything for me and Franci for everybdoy that knows us.
U wanna know what we got...not even we knew what it was. We gonna post it up here so u can hear by ur self...But it was Sean Paul - come and get it and Beenie Man- Gimmie Gimmie and litterly only the Gimmie Gimmie part for 4 and a half eight counts...how much can we give u ..u cant shake ur ass for that long ..lol..no creativity..sooo it was hard especially when Franci got well the day before and I had a big lack of inpiration.
SO at 7 o clock PM on Friday nite it was time to get to work !!! Boy it was a challenge but hey thats why we here.
At 3 AM it was almost done so we decided to get som rest for a couple of hours.
Now the day is here its saturday and we supposed to be at Jamaica College were the competion was keepin at 2 PM.
Was everybody there, NO ...but we were , lol
So we had to learn the opening act that was 30 seconds plus rember our own thing..but the most traggic thing is that we wasnt able to show the Jamaican people what we are capable of . The theam was Dancehall!!!
But it was showtime and like the say the show must go on!!!
It was time to get focused and do what we came here to do no matter how we was feeling. So after sweating for ten hours straight it was time to hit the stage .
