December 2012 almost over and soon its a new Year 2013, wooow , time just go by sooo fast.
Thsi year been a very nice fun learning and with new projects that made me ( Melpo mellz ) even better as a dancer/choreographer/dance teacher / entertainer /singer/singwriter.
Since I came back from Jamaica end of November it was just work workwork work work =D Luuv it.
had the chance to bring Latonya Style( First class ) from Jamaica to keep a workshop here in Stockholm, Sweden since she already was in Europe. Time went too fast though...too fast . The class was full thanks to everyone that showed up and thyanks to Latty- Respect
After that I started to teach at DANSCENTER STOCKHOLM, as the last Guest teacher for the 2 year class program of the dance academy , and u best believe I taught them DANCEHALL , so for 3 weeks it was Dancehall vibes, with steps, talk, and choreos and they ended the school term with a nice showcase =D They will tour in MAY in Sweden and finally Dancehall is here to get recognized as it should , its not only bootyshaking people!! :p
Here is a sneak peak from those 3 weeks + during those weeks I had a workshop In Stockholm, Sweden thanks to everyone that came by, the classes was full =D + I had workshop and show in Finland more footage comming soon. Oh yeah and I was opening act for Deamarco who actually didnt show up, but heeeey I got to performe ...my latest song " Let Me Live My Life " produced by cashflow more of that soon. OH YEAH cant forget my kids in Rågsved , its a project they aving there showing that dancing actually helps kids in their everyday life, we all got problems right, but dancing really helps, it helped me , so for me its therapy so I call it dancehall therapy , to understand it u actually have to take class for me, Kids is out future so help the guide them to a positive attitude .
Oh and the last thing was MOSQUITO ON ICE - Think DANCEHALL with lots of Snow, cold outside, Ice, and lots of looooove from people, maaaadness , never seen somthing liek that in my life or danced in something like that ...Best ever
So this was my 3-4 weeks in Sweden imagine how my year been ;) Im so damn thankful for everything for 2012 but I do work hard :D
